Automation is what technology is all about so if I can find ways to automate something, I will. Someone asked me recently whether you could link an Excel worksheet title to a chart title. “YES!” I said. I was glad they asked as I had forgotten that it was possible until they asked.
It’s a very easy process:
- Select the Chart Title
- Click into the Formula Bar
- Type and equal sign
- Click in the cell you wish to link to
- Press Enter
That’s it! Couldn’t be easier. Now, if your title changes, the chart title does too!
