Objectives
- To demonstrate the packaging workflow of 2D and 3D images appropriate for MS Office and Indesign documentation
- To demonstrate the packaging workflow of 2D and 3D images appropriate for conversion to other software packages
- Participants will workshop Adobe and Microsoft workflows to deliver clients visual information in an appropriate format.
Applications touched on in the workshop include:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Indesign
- Adobe Bridge
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Picture Manager
- Google Sketchup
Applications not covered:
- AutoDesk AutoCAD
Participants are encouraged to bring their DXF or DWG files with them. Bring along laptops too.

Instructor’s Background:
Even with Nick Oliver’s professional background and experience in training a range of graphics and end-user project programs he found a common problem when trying to plan and create his own apartment designs.
Having worked with a range of professions including trades people, designers, architects, government department s and clients for his projects it became apparent there are a range of programs available to deliver an electronic solution but it is rarely easy to understand what can or can’t be achieved in the most efficient way.
