The course is aimed at students with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows who need to use Microsoft® Outlook® 2010 to compose and send email messages, schedule appointments and meetings, manage contact information, tasks, and notes. It is intended for students interested in pursuing the Microsoft® Office Specialist certification for Outlook.
Students taking up this course should be familiar with using personal computers and should have used a mouse and keyboard; basic typing skills are required. Students should be comfortable working in the Windows environment and should be able to use Windows to manage information on a computer. Specifically, they should be able to launch and close programs; navigate to information stored on a computer; and manage files and folders.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
