This one-day course is made up of a three-hour First Look Clinic (FLC) as well as a three-hour Hands on Lab. The First Look Clinic will cover key new features in Windows Server 2012. It will outline new management and access features for areas such as Server Manager, Active Directory and PowerShell. It will also cover storage and network improvements as well as High Availability and significant changes to Hyper-V contained within Windows Server 2012.
The Hands on Lab will cover new features and functionality in Windows Server 2012. It will cover technologies such as Server Management, Windows PowerShell, IP Address Management (IPAM), Dynamic Access Control, Microsoft Online Backup, Live Migration, Configuring Hyper-V Replica and Managing Storage.

This course is intended for experienced IT Professionals who are interested in learning about and getting hands on exposure to the new features and functionality in Windows Server 2012. People who are key influencers and technology decision makers in an IT organisation will also be interested in attending this clinic and will benefit from gaining early insight into some of the latest technologies included in Windows Server 2012. Before attending this course, students must have:
Knowledge and Experience of Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2
Good knowledge and understanding of general IT infrastructure and Enterprise environment technologies
Windows Client knowledge such as Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8
Working experience and background knowledge of Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Hyper-V
Basic understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and general networking technologies
