Many organisations have Software Assurance (SA) as part of their licensing agreement with Microsoft and often times there are many benefits that are included that go unused throughout the agreement period. In our experience many of the people who would use the benefits don’t know that their organisation has them. Those who do know about Software Assurance typically associate the program with getting the next version of software at no additional cost, however there are other benefits that can save you and your organisation money from your budget.
One of the primary benefits an organisation can receive as a part of Software Assurance are Software Assurance Training Vouchers or SATVs. SATVs are FREE technical days of training which may be redeemed for a wide range of Microsoft technical courses with any Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions, such as New Horizons Learning Centres. The total number of SATVs your organisation receives is dependent upon the total number of licences your organisation has procured from Microsoft.
SATVs expire at the end of your organisation's licensing agreement which means you and your organisation may be entitled to FREE days of training which are going unutilised.
