I got a lot of great feedback about my list of all the Excel keyboard shortcuts so I decided to reveal my list of ALL the Word keyboard shortcuts.
There is an interesting story about how I started this list off. There wasn’t even a partial list of shortcuts that I could find in a suitable format so I used this little trick. There are automations in MS Word called macros and there is a macro that generates a list of commands and shortcuts.
If you want to find this list, start in a blank Word file and do this:
Go View – Macros – View Macros
Change the Macros in: dropdown to Word Commands and then scroll down to ListCommands. Click Run then choose Current keyboard settings
This will create a new document with a big table list that looks like this:
I took this list (which goes over about 9 pages) and condensed it down so that it fits on one page.
