As part of a growing organisation, our Melbourne office now has vacancies for 2 new Business Development Manager/Account Managers. This role involves phone and face-to-face business development and account management of small-medium business and corporate companies within the public and private sectors.

This is a great opportunity to get in front of top job titles and push your sales skills to the limit. These positions will require a consultative approach to selling and therefore, you will be taking on the role of a ‘Learning Solutions Advisor’. You will find, develop and close your own sales and reap all the rewards.

Many of our current top performers have come from non-sales backgrounds and now, after 2 years, are earning over $100k per year. We are looking for someone who wants to build a career and is willing to stay with New Horizons for 3-5 years where they can learn and grow professional and personally.

Hours This is a full time position, Monday to Friday working 8:30am – 5:30pm.
 

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
     
  • Continually prospecting new clients
  • Generating new business and nurturing repeat business
  • Ongoing account management
  • Continually maintain and grow sales pipeline
  • Build and present learning solutions

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be driven, hard-working, passionate individual. This is an opportunity to take the next step in your career where you will be moving away from the boiler room call centre approach, into a more consultative business to business solution. As such, we are looking for people who are equally as passionate about building a career in sales.

Experience within the training industry would be a bonus, but is not essential. If you have the raw material, we will give you the training to make you succeed in this role.
