In today’s Blog, I will be covering new Windows 10 security features. Windows 10 comes with many new features to protect employees from the hackers and the company from data breach.
Let us review a few core security enhancements:
Multifactor authentication
Windows 10 has inbuilt support for multifactor authentication which is a combination of something you know, something you have, and something you are.
Information protection
Windows 10 made a massive enhancement in the identity front. Bit locker is used to protect information while it resides on a device. Azure rights management services and information rights management is used to secure data while they are in transit.
In Windows 10 you can also restrict accidental leakage of data by using the out of the box data loss prevention (DLP) solution.
Trusted apps
Windows 10 provides organisations the ability to run software on specific authorised devices. Windows 10 also reduces malware attacks by allowing installing only trusted applications.
Automatic encryption
Windows 10 offers automatic encryption of corporate apps, data and email and other sensitive information coming from networked locations.
