Overview:
The Diploma of Management is designed for individuals who are engaged to manage the work of others and or to add value to or review management practices. Their role may be in industry or organisational setting.
The qualification is designed to develop your skill set in core leadership competencies. The course offers a comprehensive range of content and tools that will enable you to take them directly into the workplace.
Typically people in these roles will have considerable experience in their respective roles or vocational areas and couple an informed perspective of the specific work requirements with their managerial approaches.

Full time: 8.45am – 5pm: 8 day program over 12 months. Please Note: For all options students are allowed 12 months from the last day of classroom based training to submit their assessment tasks.

Pre-requisites:
There are no prerequisite units of competence or qualifications required for entry into this qualification. However, the qualification is suited to participants who possess a sufficient grasp of the English language, adequate levels of intelligence, and appropriate attitude and motivation to enable them to undertake the demands of a Diploma level qualification.
Qualification Pathways:
Participants can complete this qualification through two different pathways:
• Training and Assessment
• Recognition of prior learning (RPL) including: Recognition of current competency (RCC), and mutual recognition of qualifications and/or Statements of Attainment from other RTOs (Credit Transfer)
Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include:
• BSB40812 Certificate IV in Frontline Management or other relevant qualification, or
• With vocational experience but without formal supervision or management qualification.
After achieving the BSB51107 Diploma of Management, students may proceed to the BSB60407 Advanced Diploma of Management or other Advanced Diploma qualifications.
